Food Pairing:

In Medieval times, mead was served with most meals – often instead of water. We’re inclined to agree that mead pairs well with most foods, but if you want to get specific, look for foods that stand up well to sweetness. Examples of this would include hearty stews and strong cheeses like Roquefort or Stilton.

RASPBERRY MEAD

A drink 9000 years in the making, mead is mankind’s oldest known fermented beverage. From simple beginnings come simple pleasures!

We’ve recently introduced a line of mead. Our current offering, Raspberry Mead, is a melomel style mead, which is characterized by the addition of fruit. Made with a blend of raspberries, honey, and a touch of malt and hops to round out the flavour, our mead is medium dry and reminiscent of pink champagne.
