JOB POSTING: RECEPTIONIST/SALES & MARKETING
Alley Kat Brewing Company is currently seeking a high energy, good humoured, and enthusiastic team player to join us as a full-time Receptionist/Sales and Marketing Assistant. As the successful applicant you will be involved in many areas of our operation including but not limited to reception duties, retail sales in our beer store, tours of our brewery, taking orders and entering invoices, scheduling deliveries, helping with sponsorships, and looking after our retail space. Additionally you will assist the sales and marketing team with events, sales data entry, and social media. We are looking for someone who has previous customer service experience, is comfortable using social media, and who is as excited about locally brewed craft beer as we are. To be the successful candidate you must be energetic, have exceptional customer service and communication skills, be able to manage your time effectively, and be very detail oriented. Oh, and did we mention “have a passion for locally craft brewed beer.” You will also have a valid driver’s license have your own vehicle and be available to occasionally work outside of standard business hours.

PACKAGING LINE OPERATOR
Alley Kat Brewing Company is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the position of packaging line operator.
Duties: The successful applicant will be a part of our production team, with duties including operating our bottle filling line, filling kegs, packing bottles, cleaning, and general maintenance.
We are looking for an individual with:
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude A good attitude, attention to detail, and an interest in a career in the brewing industry
- Sound judgment and critical thinking skills The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with manufacturing in the food & beverage industry would an asset but not required.

Also, as a small business, Alley Kat needs good humoured, enthusiastic team players to fit in with the social and company dynamic.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience; benefits after probationary period
Hours: 40 hours/week, Full Time Shifts, 8 hours scheduled Monday-Friday between 6 am and 7:30 pm.

Next Act Cask Night, Tuesday, April 1st, 2014 @ 6pm (10422 82 Ave)

We've started with our already amazing Bearded Dragon Imperial Red IPA, and cranked it up to 11 adding Amarillo and Chinook Hops and primed it with brown sugar for good measure. With the release of our Scona Gold Kölsch we can think of no better way to unveil it to the city than by cask conditioning some and serving it up to our fans at Craft Beer Market. We're so confident in Scona Gold that were serving it up naked; No extra hops, No aditional flavouring ingredients. This emperor wears no clothes, and is darn proud of it! If you're enjoying our Bearded Dragon as much as we are you wont want to miss out on another opportunity to try it in cask form at the Sugar Bowl. We've added extra hops to this bearded bad boy to give it a delicious hoppy edge. Cask gets tapped at 6pm and space is at a premium, you'll want to turn out early for this one!
Beer Revolution Cask Night, Friday, April 35th, 2014 @ 5:00pm, (11736 104 Ave)
Get ready for a cask that is full of flavour! This month's Beer Revolution cask is Smoked Amber! That's right we took our original Amber Ale and added a decadent smoked malt! The result will be a rich and smoky quaff with a distinct biscuit flavour! We tap this beauty right at 5pm, so be sure to arrive early.

MS Bike Tour Fundraiser & Launch Party, Thursday, May 1st, 2014 @ 5:00pm, (9929 60 ave)
Come on down May 1st for an old fashioned Alley Kat launch Party and fundraiser. You can enjoy some of our new Big Bottle release the Loaded Goat Maibock and some food for a small donation that helps us support the MS Society. get your behind down to the brewery from 5pm - 8pm for some great brew in support of a worthy cause.
