We believe that this may be the first example of a Wee Heavy Braggot in Canada, so we knew we had to find the best honey around to pull it off. Enter our good friends at Fallentimber Meadery and their delicious honey.
A braggot is a beer where the fermentable sugar is derived from both malt and honey. We used natural honey from Fallentimber Meadery in Water Valley, Northern Girls’ Goldings hops, and threw in some British malts to Show off the Scottish influence in this beer.
